Check out the countdown calendar on the right. It's finally here. Spring has sprung, well -- on the calendar that is. Today in my part of Michigan, we had 36 degrees, overcast skies with rain, snow, and grapple! The wind is very strong, also, so the cold seems much worse than it is. All that said, the robins are here, and the bulbs are breaking ground.
I went to my new house today to see the yard without snow for the first time. I was surprised at the gopher hills. Yikes! We have a lot of work to do.
I see that there is a garden along the driveway; I can start from there and then put my own stamp on it. My hope is to post pictures of the yard now and then continue on as we create our daylily garden and vegetable garden. Both will be much smaller than before even though the property is larger. It's time to cut back a little, but I still want to get my hands in the dirt.
Posts may be few and far between as we work on the new house; cleaning, painting, hanging curtains, building, etc. I hope you can stick around, as I go through this new phase of my life. I'm looking forward to taking you on my journey.
