Tedibles Giveaway, an Earth Friendly Company

What have I been up to lately? Well, I'm starting a new business, and I decided to launch it today on Earth Day.
It began a few years ago when my dog, Jackie, died of liver and kidney failure due to eating tainted dog food. Of course, after purchasing the same dog food for years, I had cans of it still in the cupboard with numbers on it pointing directly back to a plant that had canned some of the bad food. That didn't do me any good. My dog was gone.

This past November I got a darling little Shih Tsu puppy, and named him Teddy (after Teddy Roosevelt), and yes. he looks like a Teddy Bear. I resolved never to let the same thing happen again. I admit it, he's spoiled. I now make my own dog food.
I was already making dog treats and bones for family and friends, so I decided to expand it into a business.

My new company is called Tedibles. Tedibles are all-natural doggie treats packaged in Eco-friendly containers. Some, but not all, ingredients are even organic. We use no preservatives, or fillers of any kind. Every batch is Ted-Tested, and he is more than happy to have the official position of Head Taste-tester.

Tedibles is also involved in several charities but only one is up and running at the moment, Ted's MPs. Read about it here.
I hope you'll visit often; we will be adding new products soon, including herbal shampoos, conditioners, and flea and tick repellents. Please bookmark us and come again.

I would love to offer a free 10 oz. bag of Tedibles to the winner of my giveaway. Enter here:

1. Leave a comment after visiting the Tedibles web site, about what you think of the new site and product ideas and/or leave an interesting story about your dog.

3. For another entry Retweet this post and tell me you did in the comment box.

4. For a third or more entry sign up with Feedburner, Feedblitz or Google Follower. Be sure to tell me that you did in the comment box.

I once had a husky that would eat anything, including a twenty dollar bill, a partial jar of vicks, and some scotch tape.

I don't have a dog, so you don't have to enter my name in the contest, but I did want to wish you good luck with your new venture. It would seem you're filling a gap, for sure. :)

I love that these are healthy and natural. I'm sure my dogs would love beef and garlic. Maybe some new flavor ideas: cheese and peanut butter? Thank you for the chance to win.

Love the site and I will be purchasing. We, too, have those adorable Shih Zhu's. One we just rescued from the ditch who is eternally grateful to us, I'm sure! She has very poor teeth and needs good food. Thanks for a great giveaway. vlnett@sbcglobal.net

Your dog is adorable. We have a new dog Frankie(golden retriever)-who likes to eat socks. Maybe a bag of Tedibles would keep him from doing that!

I am very impressed with your kindness to the MP cause that I read about on your website....

I just adopted 2 ALP dogs, and they are wonderful company and love to go for walks, which is healthy for us all...

They'd love to try your healthy treats, too, being very smart dogs!

The site was attractive and easy to use. I think my dog Wilson would like the Turkey & Gravy treats (not that he has ever met a treat he didn't like)

I stumbled upon your blog/website, and I really enjoyed reading your story. I read the other stories of other dogs helping the troops and love the pictures as well.

I have friends (and my boyfriend's family) who have dogs. My boyfriend has 2 miniature dachshunds that I believe would love to try some of your dog treats in the nibble size.

Also, I wanted to show you my support for you creating an earth-friendly company as well. :-)

Congrats again on your creation and thanks,

Lisa

That is one cute dog on the Tedibles website, not a breed I recognize. Ours is a mutt, though many say he looks a lot like Benjie of movie fame. He is very respectful of the cat and keeps his distance, but we occasionally catch them touching noses. So, who knows, interspecies love may bloom btw them yet!

I was impressed with the site. It was clear, understandable & not all jumbled or crowded. The pumpkin colour or similar shade used is very pretty and draws the eye and I like the easy menu to the left instead of at the top how alot of sites do.

I just wanted to add (I posted above) to say how sorry I was to hear the story of Jackie's death from contaminated dog food a few years ago. (A friend's cat also died in that pet food poisoning epidemic.) It is absolutely awful, and as much as we wish we could see justice served, nothing would bring back our beloved pets who died. I hope such a thing will never happen again, and I admire your effort to take control by starting your own pet food company.

I have two dogs, Rusty is our Irish Setter, we've had him for 11 years and Suki Suki is a Japanese Chin, it's going on two year in August since we got him. Suki Suki is the boss and it's funny to see our rather big Irish Setter follow Suki Suki around. They are so cute together. Rusty won't even eat first until Suki is finished his bowl first.
