A New Look at Spring.

Today, as I walked around the garden, I took a new look at Spring. April showers and the gentle sun have encouraged the plants to start producing flowers. The many beautiful flowering trees are in bud and the birds are singing their noisy songs in the morning calling out to each other in hopes of finding a mate. Or maybe they are just as thrilled with spring as I am. How I love this time of year.

Here are a few different looks at my garden. It's a bittersweet tour for me. We have finally received and accepted an offer on our house. I'm not sure how much longer I will be here, and I am trying to soak up and enjoy every day of the garden that took me 15 years to sculpt and create. We are house shopping at this moment but still don't know where we'll live. Wherever it is, I will build a new garden area, and I plan to take my blogging friends on the journey with me.
Until then, here are a few shots of this year's fantastic flowers.

Congrats on selling your house! I still miss my old garden, but it's sure been fun building a new one here!

Leaving a house has always been easy for me... but leaving a garden is heartache! Is that frog in your header in your garden? So sweet!

Look ahead at all the great new things you will be able to start anew. Who knows --- my house I bought held a few surprises in its gardens as cool things popped up in the first year from the previous owners.

I can only imagine how hard it will be to leave memories of your beautiful home, Jane Marie. Good thoughts are with you on your new journey to find the house that again will feed your soul.
