Didn't I Tell You?

I hate to say so but didn't I tell you? Yes, there was a thaw. But as usual it was Mother Nature's way of fooling us all. Just a little tease of what's to come in another 6 weeks or so. This is what we woke to this morning. Disgusting!

Now for some good news! I have chosen the winners of my two One World One Heart Giveaways.
Sheila at The Quintessential Magpie won the miniature polymer clay veggies.
Ladybug at Living in the Light I Find is the winner of the Red Hat Society Quilt Pattern.
Both have been contacted and have responded already. Congratulations, ladies, your items are in the mail!

I encourage you all to stay with me. I have some more really exciting giveaways coming very soon! I don't mean to tease you like Mother Nature, but gardeners especially are going to love at least one of them.

Don't forget to visit An Herbal Bedfellow for healthy recipes made with herbs, and also my newest blog:
Happenstance House -- A journal about my Victorian home and all of it's contents.

Jane Marie, I am checking in before dinner to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm thrilled to have won those veggies! :-)

Wishing you a very Happy Valentine's Day (sorry about the snow), and hoping that your heart is filled with all the love it can possibly hold!

Much love...

Sheila :-)

Poor Jane Marie, winter just will not leave you alone! Before you know it, spring will return and you'll forget all about the snow. Flowers always win out!

We had a BIG thaw here with ice jams on the creek Thursday. Now yesterday we got another 3" of snow, but at least it cleaned up everything nice and white again.

I saw your hopeful thaw post yesterday, but you're right - and so is nature: Spring is such a tease!

thank you so much for your generosity and for being part of One World One Heart! I hope some goodies found their way to you too!

Now it looks like I need to go check out the link to the Mother Earth Magazine....I've not read it before, but I think I'll be looking for it now! :)
