First, let me make myself clear. I am not just thankful on Thursday. I try to be thankful for something every day, but to be honest, sometimes a day goes by and I have totally forgotten to consciously think about one particular thing. And I have to admit that sometimes I just plain don't feel like being thankful. I shouldn't tell you that, but I do have a downer day now and then.
But today it wasn't that difficult. I looked at my garden and realized what a wonderful summer I have had so far. The weather has been perfect for being outside almost every day, and my job has been a little less stressful, allowing me to enjoy my flowers; not just work on them.
So today I am thankful for my gardening abilities and the opportunity to so thoroughly enjoy what God has allowed me to grow.

Your garden is truly beautiful. So natural a setting, as though nature created it all by itself!

Your garden is absolutely beautiful! I could sit there for hours looking at all of the beauty.
'Down Days' make us appreciate 'Up Days' all the more! Your post was 'An Upper' for sure, Jane Marie. ((Across the state hugs))
Just looking at your garden makes me happy! It's good to make ourselves think about what we are thankful for sometimes; when we stop to think, we realize so much to be thankful for that we just took for granted. (At least, I know I do!)
