They're Screaming to Get Out

There's more to Serendipity Gardens than just daylilies, and they're screaming to get out !!

I found these other flowers in varying stages of bud and bloom today. They sometimes get overlooked in my daylily enthusiasm. But they do their part every day by adding to the artist's palette of rainbow colors. These beauties bring me joy also; I've been neglecting to give them their fair share of attention.

Purple Coneflower, Echinacea

Red Hot Pokers getting ready for the fireworks. They'll be full of hot colors.

Veronica

Heliopsis with a resident.

Liatris

Another liatris next to one of the garden angels.

Stargazer Lily, it's a new one this year and still small.

Prairie Mallow, Party Girl, small but still cute. It looks a little too much like a wildflower to be in this area. I might have to move it next year.

Bee Balm, Panorama Red Shades, just waiting for it's turn to bloom. It looks like something is using it for lunch. Oh, no.

I'm glad to see some of these Cinderellas blooming even if they didn't get to go to the ball. I'm sure they appreciated your attention today:)

I've gotten behind in reading posts; enjoyed the second installment of the Meijer Gardens tour.

You are so right--sometimes we tend to overlook some beautiful things in the garden! Thanks for the reminder and pictures!

It's so easy to overlook the rest of the garden when you're enthralled with your daylilies. I'm sure that these wonderful blooms appreciated the attention:).

BEAUTIFUL flowers...and right in your own backyard. Now, I can see why people garden.
