They're No Worse for the Wear!

Good Morning! Last night all dancing was off and a large storm front rolled through the garden area. Strong winds, pounding rain, lightening, and thunder all kept the guests in a tizzy as they struggled to hold onto their hats and umbrellas. The ladies had a hard time keeping their frocks from blowing in the wind as they dashed for cover.
I did not know what to expect from them this morning. Would they all pack up and go home? Certainly not! Not my stalwart friends! This morning they are no worse for the wear. Aren't they amazing? Who wouldn't want friends like that?

Some have already arrived and are waiting for their introductions now, so let's go ahead.

Gentle Shepherd was here throughout the night to calm the skittish. His purity, white light, and gentleness always has a calming effect.

Lavender Deal is quite a dapper young man. He prefers flashy colors and is quite a hand at card games.

One of my favorite guests is Enchanted Elegance. She was named well because she has all that her moniker suggests: Charm, grace, and beauty. She's everything a true lady strives to be.

Today, in my opinion, Wolf Eyes, steals the show! I have been waiting all year for this one to appear. Look at how she artfully applies the eye-liner to emphasize those gorgeous eyes. And she has chosen a lovely shade of pink to compliment her eye color. Breathtaking!! She is the epitome of what this cotillion is all about. (Sigh)

I have been told that there are some who are just not fully dressed yet, but they should be here later this morning or even tomorrow. I'll fill you in then. Thanks for coming. This is Jane Marie, signing off.

No-one looks the worse for wear. Still beautiful, and showing off their colors nicely.

We've been having torrential rain too, and my stuff is looking decidely battered. It'll bounce back though.
