In the meantime the cotillion is still in full swing. The dancer are slowing a little but it's just to have more time to enjoy each other's company.
Three new guests arrived and they're all in shades of pink. They surely look pretty standing together.

First is Susan Weber. She's a big girl, strong and sturdy, but still as feminine as can be. Ruffles seem to suit her.

Illini Destiny has a goal to live in Chicago. Maybe I should introduce her to the other guests from Illinois who are at the ball; Illini Jackpot, Chicago Arnie's Choice and Chicago Picotee Queen. Chicago Apache has not made an appearance yet. The Windy City is well represented.

Dublin Elaine -- aah, look at this beauty. I expected her to be in green since she hails from the Emerald Isle, but Elaine chose the most stunning shade of pink I have seen in a while. It looks fantastic with that Irish red hair, doesn't it? She's so lovely that I chose her portrait for my computer screen. Take a closer look if you like, she won't mind a bit.
Well, I'm only expecintg a few more arrivals, perhaps 6-8. Some haven't started getting ready yet. I guess they prefer August to the rush of July. So until they choose to grace us with their presence, this is Jane Marie at Serendipity Garden.
Did you see the giveaway on yesterday's post? You'll love it!
And check out An Herbal Bedfellow for a giveaway of it's own.

I was just looking at Chicago Apache when I was browsing in the nursery the other day. I have Chicago Atlas and I really like it.
I love your Dublin Elaine. (I have a feeling that her name might be a pun on "doubling" since she is one of the more beautiful doubles I have seen lately.)
Yes, Karen, you're right. She's a double and I'm sure it's a pun. My stories are just stories, shhh -- don't tell the guests-- I'm not saying she's actually from Ireland. I love puns, too :)
I wish I'd had a pink bloom yesterday to show in honor of my news of finding out about the gender of my new grandbaby! A girl!

Hi Jane Marie Hope you're participating in Thankful Thursday tomorrow. I have a photo of a daisy on my sidebar where readers can click and see a list of all the participants. Feel free to copy the photo if you like. I don't know how to get the words Thankful Thursday on the photo. Hugs, Rhondi
Jane Marie, just how many day lilies do you have!? I have loved them all and am so envious. my poor little day lily bed pales in comparison. You must get a lot of satisfaction from them. I love Dublin Elaine and am going to look for her. Also, Illini Destiny. You'd think I could find the ones with Illinois in the name here in Illinois, but I don't remember seeing any at the nurseies.
SUPERBE !!!
