Chicago Arnie's Choice is full of life and vitality. He's my kind of guy. He's handling the wind that just picked up quite well since his home town is "The Windy City." Sharp dresser, also.

Green Tarantula must be here to meet with the other spiders. I wasn't aware they were all attending this year.

Miss Jessie arrives alone. She has been without a date for the last few years. She has plenty of self-confidence so it doesn't bother her at all. What's that? Oh, it looks like she brought her little sister who is hiding behind her skirt.

Orchid Champagne is lovely as usual. She's chosen a fabulous shade of purple/pink to wear tonight. It compliments her large eyes. Beautiful!

Pandora's Box always makes a showing. I wonder what kind of surprises she has in store for us this year.

Siloam Plum Tree hails all the way from Jerusalem. She's dressed in her finest plum garment. Tall and thin, she's like a runway model. Gorgeous!

I haven't been introduced to this lovely tangerine. She just arrived unannounced; she was sent to Serendipity Garden by a friend, and I never got her name.

She's bringing many of her siblings. They arrived early and will stay late. They're all so pretty that I don't even mind that I don't know who they are.

Bold One has a strong presence. He commands attention from anyone around him. Look how he holds himself, sure of himself in every way.

Eye Catching is just that. She catches the eye of everyone who passes by. She wears a delicate picotee as her necklace. I would say she is quite breathtaking.

And here's the last carriage of the day, Ditch Lily. I'm afraid she has not earned a place in the garden. She can't get past the door. But to be fair her ancestors started the cotillion a thousand years ago. She's come on harder times in the last few years. Still, I'll allow her to stand on the sidelines and watch from there. I don't want to be a snob, but this is a "hybrid cotillion."
Time for a quick break. Stay with me, there's more carriages coming!

Eye Catching certainly is -- what a gorgeous combination. They're all beautiful!
They are all beautiful and I love the stories!
Eye Catching is polytepalous today -- well, four petals anyway. I can't see if there's another sepal.
I really admire the spiders, especially the dual colour. (It has the same colours as 'Frans Hals', but with an unusual form.)
Wow, I am loving all your daylilies! They are keeping me going until my own "cotillion" starts.
