This is what I found this morning in my back yard. Most were more than eager to pose for the camera. I can hear "ribbits" all through the day! It's a very joyous sound to me. Add this to the bird calls, the running water of the water fall, the colors of my garden, and I'm a happy woman. Now, where's that good book I was reading?

Jane Marie, what a lovely froggy haven you have. I love the 'dock'. All those frogs will help with those gnats and mosquitoes. I could sure use a few frogs here!
My favorite music is the simple sounds of nature. And I need to get around to reading all those books I keep buying and storing on the shelves!

We have torrential rain since a few days. A wet winter, it looks good for spring, when the soil gets thouroughly saturated.
We usually have so many frogs but not this year.
Your pond is just so cool, and to have all those frogs simply delightful ! I bet they never go hungry..Especially if you have had as much rain as we've had. Those gnats and mosquitos are everywhere.
