The Party Is On and There Are Party Crashers!

The party is on!
I'm inviting you to attend an old-fashioned cotillion with fancy ladies and fine gentlemen all decked out in their finest. The festivities will last for weeks, so get comfortable and stay awhile. Come and watch Daylilies dancing in the sun; they like to show off so you won't be imposing at all if you just decide to be a wallflower and watch the happenings from the sidelines.
Let's get started. I'd like to introduce you to my friends.

Grace & Grandeur

Monkey

Prairie Blue Eyes

Pure & Simple

Windfrills

Snapdragons and Bellflowers are both party-crashers but I decided to let them stay awhile. The Snapdragons have a habit of showing up where they're not wanted but since they took the time to dress up so prettily, I didn't have the heart to throw them out.

I hope you had a good time. Stop by again so you can meet some of the late arrivers. We'll be going on well into the night, maybe even into the harvest moon.

They are all lovely, but I like the Pure & Simple best of all...pure and simple. Daylilies are so colorful!

I LOVE those snapdragons! But maybe I have a thing for party-crashers. :)

Clever post, Jane Marie. I enjoyed the cotillion and agree with Kim; the snapdragons and bellflowers are delightful party crashers.

I'm ready to dig up all my Stella d'Oro's and plant some of these. Prairie Blue Eyes and Pure and Simple would be a good start. Lovely photos.

You have some very attractive friends :)
I don't think I can choose a favorite. They're all so beautiful, but I love the 'different' shape of Windfrills.
I had that shade of snapdragon 2 years ago and haven't found it since. It's gorgeous with the bellflowers. Pretty party crashers. I'd let them stay too :)
As usual I love your music.
