Pure and Simple Daylily

Nearly Wild Rose

Sweet Williams

One lone Sweet William volunteer. A darker color, in the wrong place, but pretty just the same.

Evening Primrose

Johnson's Blue Perennial Geranium. It's standing tall now after the staking. When it's finished blooming, I'll cut it back and watch it start up all over again.

The first Heliopsis to bloom this year.

One peony bush just recently started. It's a later variety, but I don't know the name.

Sundrops. They're thick this year. I had to pull them out like weeds. I love the bright yellow.
There are more plants all around the house and pond, but this was the main garden in the backyard. I'll focus on the rest of the yard another time. I'm lucky to get this one posted. Whew!!!
Don't forget to scroll down and enter the Burpee hat giveaway, or click here: GIVEAWAY. There are no strings attached. It's the real thing. I'd love to see all of my garden friends enter.

your sundrops are lovely.. great picture of them. But I'm bias because I love yellow. :)
Lovely selection of blooms, I especially like Daylilies and love the rich warm tone of your one.
Thank You for the kind remark earlier, made me blush!

That blue perennial geranium is outstanding -- I love blue in the garden, especially in combination with orange and/or yellow. :) Your blooms are all lovely.
Late blooms are better than no blooms! The evening primrose is pretty, and I like all those sundrops. By the way, I mentioned your contest in my post today; hope that is ok!
Your flowers are lovely! I am particularly fond of daylilies, and that one is a beauty!
You must be delighted, Jane Marie. Your garden is lovely! Sure enjoyed my walk ;)
The date creeps up fast, doesn't it? A stroll through the garden anytime is welcome (no time limits!) and I enjoyed this one very much. Your blooms are looking beautiful. I have sundrops blooming their heads off too, and spreading like crazy! Your Johnson's Blue is gorgeous, as is your lovely daylily.
Sweet William is always lovely, especially the pinks.
Peonies and roses..I love them all!
I'm glad you found the time to post your lovely blooms :)
Good for you making your own bloom day post. I always miss it too but never make up for it like you. I'm glad you did, there is a lot going on and it's all beautiful.
