Tree on Fire

Did you ever notice how the sun can change the color of your plants and trees?

This is my Japanese Maple called Garnet with some orange/yellow tulips, named Oxford Elite. The sun ray landed right on the tulips and I thought it was awesome, so of course I had to get a shot and luckily the camera was close at hand.

Minutes later, the sun hit the tree, and it looked like it was on fire.

Nature is the living, visible garment of God. Goethe.

Isn't it wonderful when the gardens come back to life?
I thought of you this week - we are at Monet's Gardens in Giverny and I saw lots of Day Lilies - not blooming, of course... but in the garden!
