Love your site. A few years back, I was heavily into organic gardening. I made my own compost, even! Now I live in Florida and gardening down here in this zone is a little different. It would take an awful lot of soil amendment to have what I had on Long Island, because down here it's just sand, really. I can still grow herbs in pots on the lanai, though. Anyhow, enjoyed your blog!
At the first sight, I thought it was a gargoyle. So you were observing the sky, and were observed by return! Nice picture which looks like mine: walls then liberty.
I love gardening with daylilies and herbs. I like to cook and bake, read, and quilt. I've been playing the piano since I was 5, took 13 years of lessons and started teaching when I was 15.

He looks quite content sitting way up there. How brilliant that you saw him. Karen
It does remind me of a Mourning Dove on your roof. It makes a statement when shown, alone, against the sky. Nice work.
Wonderful shot of both the sky and the bird

Oh, I love that little bird on the old metal room. We have a building similar to that at our farm. Lovely.
