Hurry Up Hoe Down

It's hurry up hoe down. I almost forgot, and I'm making all kinds of mistakes. Here goes:

Here are the two we use the most, antiques. But that's what we like.

Duane uses this one to move around the wood on the fire pit, of all things. Believe me, he hears about it.
And that's one of my lovely crocks that fell apart this year. Disappointment!

For more Hoe Down pictures go see Carol at May Dreams Gardens.

I am so enjoying the music that I don't want to leave! So sorry about your crock, can you glue it, epoxy of some type?

Hi Jane Marie, I have a hoe like that last one pictured, but forget to include it! The Hoe Down is actually tomorrow (Saturday) so you are in plenty of time! One of the first to "arrive".

Thanks for joining in.

I think antique tools are the best, too. They just seem to fit my hands better for some reason.

I am going hoe shopping after work today; I went looking for one the other day and realized that we have everything but!

Sorry about the crock. If it were mine, I would put the larger piece on its side in the garden so it looks like one of those toad houses.

That hoe looks very interesting. Very interesting indeed. I think we used to have one like it, but I haven't seen it in years...mmmm...wonder where it is?

I like Laura's idea re: your crock. Would be great for the toads.

Love the antique hoes. I have a crock similar to yours that also broke; Laura does have an interesting idea about using it, though.
Somehow I lost your blogsite and haven't been here for awhile. Just read your post about the quilts. You've done a beautiful job! I've only made baby quilts for my grandchildren, and those I did by machine. But my mother is quite the quilter--everything by hand--so I know how much work goes into one.

Frances, Im glad you enjoy my music. It's very calming to me while I work on the blog.

Carol, thnak you for hosting a wonderful hoe down. It was the besy party I've been to in a long time.

Lisa, I love the antique tools because I like to feel the handle, too. A I like knowing that someone else worked in their garden with it and I wonder what their story is.

Sherry, your comment made me laugh. My husband found this by the roadside, it called to him so he decided to bring that hoe home and have his way with it. So now it has a new life and works hard to please us.
I guess it's finders keepers :)

Rose, I'm glad we found each other again. I put you on my blogroll. Maybe you need to post a few quilts. I'd love to see them.
