Who in the world is Jane Marie? It's me, that's all.
You first met me as Piana Nanna. Then I decided to come out of the closet, but not quite all the way. I wanted a little anonymity so I used only my middle name. Well as time went on, I saw several Maries out there. Some were posting comments on my site and I was posting on theirs.
I also write Tickling the Ivories, and I would suggest that the parents of my piano students read my blog. When I got no comments from them or even any kind of reaction, I questioned one person. She didn't realize that Marie was me -- even though my picture was there for all to see. How funny :)
So now that we really know each other, won't you please come back for a visit? I miss you. Jane Marie

I've come for a visit, now that you've straightened it all out. Hey, I miss comments from you, too!
I went to school with a girl named Jane Marie. She used both names as one, like "Mary Ann" (who was her older sister). Is that how you say your name, too?
Hi Karen, I go by whatever anyone calls me. Usually Janie, or J.M. or Mom or Nanna. It was Jane Marie when I was young and my mother was mad at me. Of course, she also called me Miss Priss when I was complaining about something, which was quite often :)
Hello Jane Marie :)
We knew a fellow who said, it doesn't matter what you call me, as long as you don't call me late for dinner. :<)
I'm off to add your blog to my list again. Welcome back.
Hi Jane Marie - hope your garden will give you a good show this year!
My mom never called me Miss Priss, but occasionally she'd use "Lady Jane", as in "What do you think you're doing, Lady Jane!"
That could have worked pretty well for you!
Annie at the Transplantable Rose
Nan, My husband uses that phrase all the time!!
Annie, you're right, she called me that one too. I guess, it depended on how haughty I was getting as a teenager.
Hey, great to have you back, Jane Marie! Yes, I went through a few phases myself. The Anonymous Mama was quite laborious and rose suspicion when I emailed podcasters who didn't want to say it on the air! haha!
And I know dawn224 - Hi to you too!
Hi Jane Marie,
I wondered who that comment was from as I didn't recognize the name.
Nice to visit you again.
What a beautiful pic that snowy barn scene is above. As another Michigander, I can say there is nothing quite like winter in Michigan--good and bad.
